100% recommend staying to friends. Fairly clean and wonderful place, has nice views of Kathmandu valley. The location is marvellous and lovely, 2 miles from Swayambhu. Would stay again in this GREAT area.

Had a great stay in the nights at Great Doors Thamel. the location was marvelous and easy, a short walk to the airport, Kathmandu, and the center of town. - Stopped by Fusion Himalaya Restaurant for some coffee and treats, which is a short walk from the venue. Highly recommend!

This hotel is a great value for money with prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail is impressive, from the well-maintained rooms on the upper floors to the excellent working condition of all amenities. I particularly loved the rooms that come with direct sunlight and air conditioning, making my stay very comfortable. The location in Thamel is perfect, with main streets just a short walk away.

I had a great stay at this hotel in Thamel. The location is perfect, just a one-minute walk from the main street. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms, although small, are cozy and comfortable. The breakfast provided was quite good, and they even packed it up for me when I had to leave early in the morning.
The only downside was that the rooms were a bit small and occasionally noisy at night due to its proximity to the main street.
